What’s the latest I can book with Amsterdam Taxi Services?

Although you may book your transfer online or by phone up to 1 hour before the pick-up/ arrival time, we recommend that you book as early as possible to ensure that we have availability.

How can I make a reservation?

You can book online on our reservation page, by phone and by email. We will ask you for details regarding the transfer such as flight details and arrival/pick up times, destination address details, passenger contact information.

Can I pay with a credit card?

Yes you can pay with credit cards, debit cards and cash on the spot or in advance online trough this website.

How can I cancel my booking?

You can cancel your booking 24 hours before day of service by sending us an email. Once we receive your cancellation request we will process your cancellation and you will receive a cancellation confirmation.

My flight times have changed, what do I need to do?

Please send us your changed flight details by e-mail. Please give us as much advance warning as possible.

What happens if my journey details change?

Should your journey details change please email us with your new details and we will update your reservation accordingly. There may be increase in price if the new journey involves further distance/time, different vehicle type, resort or number of passengers etc.

Where will I meet the driver at the Amsterdam Schiphol airport?

The driver will be waiting inside the arrivals lounge of the airport, holding a sign showing your name. The exact meeting point information is going to be included in your reservation confirmation email.

What if I can’t find my driver?

If for some reason you can’t locate your driver, please call us on the telephone number provided to make contact with your driver.

What happens if my flight is delayed or cancelled?

Your flight will be monitored for delays to ensure your driver will be waiting for you at the correct time. If your flight is delayed, your reservation will be automatically updated. If your flight is cancelled, your reservation will be automatically cancelled.

Do you provide child seats?

In The Netherlands it is not obligatory for taxi company’s to carry child seats, childrens are allowed to seat on the lap of a parent while he or she is secured by a seat belt in a taxi, how ever in some occasions upon your request we can if available arrange one for you.

Will I be sharing the vehicle with other passengers?

No, for private transfers you and your group will be the sole occupants of the vehicle.

What is a shuttle transfer?

A shuttle transfer is usually a shared bus or coach, which sometimes entails waiting for other passengers and making stops at additional locations. Occasionally, the transfer will be collecting passengers from two or more flights. The waiting times will be kept to a minimum but shuttle transfers do take longer than private transfers and this is reflected in the price difference. All collection times are given as an approximate guideline and are not always accurate due to the nature of shuttle transfers. Prices for shuttle transfers are per person.

What is a private transfer?

A private transfer service is a direct, door to door service. You will not be sharing the vehicle with passengers that are not in your party and there are no extra stops to your destination. The prices for private transfers are per vehicle, not per passenger.

Does the airport transfer take us directly to our accommodation?

The private transfer service take you directly to your accommodation.The shared shuttle service will take you to your accommodation or the nearest pick-up / drop-off point to your accommodation.

Are there any extra charges?

Any extras will be shown at the time of booking. The price total on your confirmation is final. There are no hidden extras.

Do I have to tip the driver?

Tips are welcome but not obligatory and entirely at your discretion.
